· Ensure a proper calculation of taxes, overseeing the work of outside consultants. Ultimately, the position is responsible for the proper filing and tax reporting of the Gamesa group members in China, and of making sure that these companies comply with all tax obligations, though the actual drafting of the relevant reports and returns might be carried out by external consultants. · Be able to understand the tax rules in other countries and apply them to the operation of Gamesa in China and other markets where it may operate, based on advice from external advisors, and with the support from the Corporate Tax Department. · Tax planning and transfer pricing, within the policies designed at Corporate level. · Provide tax advice to different areas of the organization, especially the commercial area. · Participate in the monthly closing process and other processes (e.g. hard closings for reporting purposes) indicating the calculation of taxes due and payable or receivable by the relevant Gamesa group member. · Attend internal and external audits. · Comply with requests for information, inspections and other proceedings conducted by the Tax Authority. · Monitoring the preparation and submission of appeals and tax refund requests. · Analyze the fiscal impact of international transactions, participating in Corporate restructuring transactions, purchase and sale of business or significant assets under the supervision of the Corporate Tax Director. · Minimizing fiscal risks in all business operations, implementing the policies for fiscal risks defined by the Corporate Tax Director. · Actively participate in the plan of internal tax training and tax training to other departments. · Report periodically information about the fiscal situation in the region to the Corporate Tax Director. |
